| Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of Leire Parish Council held on Tuesday 15th June 2004 in the Village Hall commencing at 7.30p.m. | |

Those present:- Mrs J.
Goodwin, Mr. K. Brown, Mr. F. Lambert, County Councillor Mr. D. Jennings, Mrs R.
Bones (Clerk) and two members of the general public. Apologies were received from Mr. P. Pickering and District Councillor Mr. Peter Fuchs. |

| 4434 | Minutes of the previous meeting held on Tuesday 18th May 2004 were read and approved. It was proposed by Mr F. Lambert and seconded by Mr. K. Brown that these were a true record. |

| 4435 | Matters Arising |
| i) | Street Lamp end of Oak Avenue/Station Lane Mr. Heir of HDC is also looking into the problem re the lamp being hit by HDC waste lorry. It has been reported that the lorry hit the post again last week. |
| ii) | The second Draft Statutory Declaration has been received for Mr. Pickering to sign. Mrs Goodwin will speak with Mr Pickering and arrange for them to go to the Solicitors for the signing. |

| i) | HDC Broughton Community Forum A meeting of the Forum is on Monday 21st June 2004. Mr. Lambert will try and attend this months meeting. |

| iv) | The Countryside Agency Mrs Goodwin will check details in connection with the map supplied. |

Parishioners Participation |
| i) | Mr. Brown made comment about the number of fireworks that are let off over the course of the year which is causing concern to pets and young children. There is nothing that the Parish Council can do about this. |
| ii) | Mr. Brown also reported to the meeting that rubbish is being burnt at Hall Farm. This created an awful smell as well as reducing visibility down Oak Avenue as the smoke was so thick. This matter will be brought up at the next Forum meeting where advice on this sort of problem can be sought. |
