| 4477 | Minutes of the previous meeting held on Tuesday 30th November 2004 were read and approved. It was proposed by Mr. F. Lambert and seconded by Mr P. Pickering that these were a true record. |

| 4478 | Matters Arising |
| i) | The clerk reported that she would like to receive from the Charities Commission a receipt for the £175.00 which was issued at the November meeting. The receipt is required so that the Parish accounts remain in order. |

| ii) | Goal Post Frame for Playing Field Quote has been received and this will be discussed in correspondence |

Back Lane Mrs Goodwin reported that warning signs are to be erected at the entrance to Back Lane in an attempt to prevent lorries from entering this small country lane. An action for HDC to trim back over hanging branches etc and to clear the mud from the lane will be completely in the near future. |

| i) | The Dogs (Fouling on Land) Act 1996 The survey has been completed and believe that Playing Field will be included in the land designated. |

| iii) | Planning Committee 11/1/05 Attended by Leire Parish Council to give comments against planning application Mr. & Mrs Taylor 04/01464A/FUL. |
| iv) | HDC Advance Notice of consultation on the Draft Statement of Community Involvement in Planning period 17/1/05 to 28/2/05. To be circulated and comments to be given at the next meeting. |
| v) | Annual Parish Liaison Meeting - Mrs Goodwin will try and attend on 2/2/05. |
| vi) | HDC Street Name Plate Dunton Road. A reply has been received from HDC advising that a new road sign had been ordered and will be sited next to the Telephone exchange as requested. The sign should be completed within 4 to 5 weeks and will be placed on site as soon as possible after delivery to HDC. |
| vii) | ABB The updated charges which apply from 1/04/05 has been received. |
| viii) | Mr. D. Crane A letter has been received from Mr. Crane advising us that he has turned the No through road sign around and has tightened the clamp nuts. At the time of writing the light in Little Lane has not bee replaced. |
| ix) | Leire Village Hall Committee A letter has been received advising that the rent for the Village Hall is being increased to £4.50 per hour. The increase takes place as from the 1st January 2005. |
| x) | Lamley Brothers The annual letter from Lamley Brothers in connection with Jubilee Walk has been received. The price remains the same at £182.00 + Vat per cut, one cut in March, July and September as per our previous arrangements. |
| xi) | Leire Playing Field A quotation has been received from Form Weld Ltd to supply and fit goal post frames at a price of £407.00 Job Lot + VAT. This figure has been accepted and an order is to be placed. The Parish Council would like to have the goal post frame fitted in April when the weather should have improved. |
